Had a Parent Educator relate a story to me the other day about her parent teacher conference for her kindergartener. The teacher was raving about how smart the little girl was and how she has met nearly all of her benchmarks way beyond where the other children are in the class. The teacher was paying a comment to the parent for doing such a wonderful job in teaching her little girl. This parent told the teacher that she gives all of the credit to HIPPY. She said if it weren’t for HIPPY she would not know how to teach her little girl let alone what is key to work on for the age level. This Parent Educator started out last year as a parent and loved the program so much that she kept begging us for a job in the program. We hired her December of last year and she has proven to be a great assest to our HIPPY family.
