HIPPY Conecuh: This year he blossomed!

HIPPY Conecuh
The Smith family came to HIPPY Conecuh through a referral from Evergreen Elementary. Luvika Smith, Aaron’s mother knew that her son needed some extra help with learning. Aaron came to us when he had just turned five years old. After pretesting we deceived to put him on our four year old program. Aaron improved that year but was still struggling some. After post testing he still was not where he needed to be although there had been great improvement. His parents decided to retain him in K-5. This turned out to be a good thing. We were able to serve him on the five year old program. This year he blossomed. His pre and post test scores were great and above grade level. His math and reading scores in K-5 have to be 80 or greater for him to not past to the first grade. His scores from the thirties the first time he tested in September 2011 to the nineties when he tested in May 2013.
Aaron graduated from the HIPPY Conecuh program in June 2013 but still has a brother and a sister that are in the program. His family loves the HIPPY Conecuh Program. They are appreciative of what it has done for their children and their family.
